Our curriculum aims to provide structured programme for all children while at the same time catering for the individual need of each child. The curriculum of the school is not only broad but also balanced to meet the national as well as the international standard. We have designed and developed the curriculum in associations with different Early Childhood Education Associations as well as with the help of our linked schools abroad. Hence, our students will have no diffi culties to face any entrance test for the admission in the renowned schools of Nepal as well as abroad.

Montessori Pedagogy

Montessori pedagogy is a comprehensive and continuous response to the vital exigencies of the total human being adapted to each stage of development.
NKW has adopted the Montessori approach which offers a broad vision of education as an aid to life. We have designed to help children with their task of inner construction as they grow from childhood to maturity. It succeeds because it draws its principle from the natural development of the child. Its fl exibility provides a matrix within which each individual child‛s inner directives freely guide him/her towards wholesome growth.

Teaching Aids

NKW fully believes in teaching the students with demonstrating the relevant subject matter rather than describing theoretically. Hence, we have a well equipped international standard Montessori Lab and we use different interactive audio and visual materials.

Equipped Montessori Laboratory

Montessori Lab provides a prepared environment where children are free to respond to their natural tendency to work. The children‛s innate passion for learning is encouraged by giving them opportunities to engage in spontaneous, purposeful activities with the guidance of trained teachers. Through their work, the children develop concentration and joyful self-discipline; within a framework of order, the children progress at their own pace and rhythm according to their individual capabilities.

Curriculum and Text Books

The school has developed its own syllabuses and teaching methodology based on Montessori approaches to maintain its own standard and to cover the national and international curriculum. School follows the most renowned and standard books of national and international publishers as the text books. Moreover, academic coordinator introduces new theme depending upon months or seasons and develops books and hands out to teach them spontaneously.

Our Teachers

The role of our teacher will be as a learning facilitator who creates an atmosphere of calm, order and joy in the classroom and to help and encourage the children in all their efforts, allowing them to develop self confidence and inner discipline with maternal care.
All teachers are “Early Childhood Education trained” may be with different approaches and updated with the contemporary techniques either refreshment training by the teachers of our international linked schools or through interactive teachers‛ web forum.
